Danielle+Matt
Adventurous Zion National Park Elopement
Southern Utah
Danielle and Matt exchanged vows amongst the towering red cliffs of Zion National Park.
When Danielle reached out to me she told me her vision was a relaxed, adventurous day roaming around Zion. Her and Matt had never wanted a big wedding day, so they only wanted their parents to witness them exchange vows.
These two started their day off getting ready at a quaint little AIRBNB in Hurricane, Utah about 20 minutes from the park. Danielle had her mom button up her dress, and had an emotional first look with her dad. It was the perfect slow and intentional way to start the day.
After capturing these two getting ready, we went to the South Campground amphitheater for these two to exchange vows and a first look. Dani couldn’t stop beaming as she walked down the aisle to say “I Do”.
After these two tied the knot, I took them to a few of my favorite places around the park, Starting in the valley and driving up past the tunnel. There are so many great spots to drive around the park and just pull over it absolutely blows my mind every time.
We finished the day with a one mile sunset hike to the best overlook in the park. This trail is one of the most popular hiking trails in the park, but for good reason. It has the most incredible birds eye view of the towering red walls of Zion, for the least amount of walking. Danielle hiked all the way up in her dress, and didn’t mind the dirt for one second.
